Private lessons may be available depending on instructor schedules. |

The adult program class sizes will generally be no more than 5 people per instructor. |

Different positions will be taught on the boat from driving the boat, pulling in (trimming) sails as well as maneuvering the boat through the wind (tacking and jybing). Some kneeling and crawling maybe necessary in some instances. |

Safety is the number one priority for the Sailing School. Should the weather not be conducive for going out on the water, we encourage participants to join the instructors with an on land lesson. |

What happens if the weather is not conducive to sailing? |
|
The boats that are used in the adult program are sturdy keel boats with full rigging and a motor. Typical size will be between 24-28 feet in length. The Junior program boats range from Optimists and 420’s. |
